Birthday, Christmas, other occasion...sure, let those good things come in small packages or big presents, too!
Did you realize God wants you to think of him as a great gift-giver? Our verse for this week spells out that everything we have is a gift from his hand. Some people either don't realize or don't acknowledge that the things we have are really not ours; we just take care of them for a time.
This helps to put things in perspective, doesn't it? God loves and cares for you that he sent his Son to save you. If God didn't stop at anything to gift you what is the very best, then won't he give the little things, too? And he does! Every good and perfect gift is from above--from the Lord that loves and cares for you each day.
Please take the encouragement from the verse below that you can count on the Lord to supply what you need and he won't change or flip-flop on you. Have an awesome week!
